bubbs I lived in Gibraltar for a year, quite along time ago though, the year the boarder opened with Spain. Also the year the new girls comprehensive was opened.

Used to go across to Spain to do my shopping on Saturdays because there was a lot more choice, but think things have improved a lot.

Gibraltarians are lovely and are all bi-lingual. Schools teach in English.

Mind out for the apes, they are horrid, nasty creatures who will steal anything, including your handbag. One ran at me and sat on my head, not a pleasant experience, very heavy, smelly and full of fleas.

    Where are you staying?
Yes will watch for the monekys, we are staying in the Caleta , posh room with a sea view:eek: bit different to Yorkshire in a caravan:rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry. Yes we were not there for long due to the bus schedule. Loved the history and the garrison type buildings A big central area with cafes shops and a glass blowing business if I remember correctly. Shops in archway buildings There was a huge market either meat or fruit too *i think*
I remember buying duty free, mega cheap, and were warned not to exceed the limits. We did not. The bus stopped , everyone off and everyone!!!8217;s bag was search. Some very unhappy visitors had their stuff confiscated

You could reserve my trip and have a day in Spain :D

Have you been having fun spending the holiday vouchers your oh won on the lottery?
Love Gibraltar used to stop there on the ships. A dolphin watching trip is a must as I saw literally hundreds of them there. Very quaint shopping street on a hill with tax free m and S ect.
