A Q. for RF, I thought if the spam button was pressed, it was only the post that it was pressed on that was deleted?

it depends on the number of clicks, enough clicks will delete the thread but as I said before the number required is unknown and MSE can change it up or down depending on the amount of spam hitting the forum at any one time.

I don't know what that figure is at any given time, sorry.

Sorry - I think there has been a misunderstanding and Saversue has a copy of the list that is available to us all, on the original version of Elite Shopping Chat Thread and not the part 2 that we lost. That list is months old, whereas the one I have posted earlier on this thread is one and a half weeks old. You will go seriously wrong, with a lot of items, if you follow the list from months ago!

Thanks for trying to help, Saversue.

(The list from one and a half weeks ago is now unreliable. I posted it back on post 65 onwards of this new thread (2 and a half) as it is the latest saved copy I have been able to find. At least in theory it's closer to the present, but it still needs checking versus m.com as lots of items are out of date: it is the one that I will try to change towards the end of this week.)
  • The key aspects are:-

    1. Bubbs posts 589x than anyone else.
    2. The boys can be naughty, especially David Morton!
    3. One post can result in everyone leaving their homes and running to a specific shop
    4. We all never ever have to buy shampoo and conditioner again.. and shower gel, and deodorant... and we have enough gift sets to last the rest of our lives!
    5. There are some ladies on her, Enterprise, LEJC, MOHC and me (that TM is the worst).
    6. PD can be rather rude!

    Pretty accurate :rotfl:

I told you this would happen if you kept posting nude photos! :p

Evenign all. Lovely to see Squigs posting.

If you still have it, copy and paste it, be easier than typing it all up.

I was thinking that I couldn't do that as it was only an open tab on Chrome on my mobile, but of course I could copy and paste it into a word document. Silly Susan, thanks DM

Though as I now have a copy on here, thanks to Savvy, I'll use that one instead :j

Not that accurate PD, she doesn't have 3Dogs in the list of ladies  But it's OK, I've met beanie a couple of times, and she knows that I am a lady, just as she is :D

No problem, happy to help.:) And that's even though it's me that will be having to do a lot of typing (it's not retyping technically as a lot of it was copy and paste before, but that can take longer than typing) unless anyone has an electronic copy of the list I finished on Sunday.

I did lose part of a list some time ago. During updating, a post failed to save completely and the bottom approximate third of the post was lost:mad:. I had to put that back from a hard copy. This time, it's not one section but is parts all over the list but each of them not as long as that - so I don't know which is worse. A significant amount will need to be typed but (1) I'm a very proficient three-finger typer anyway; and (2) the SP part of the M list is intact and I think it's just four items that need crossing out and one price changing (the meatballs from 40p to 47p). Hey ho, it's just one of those things that happen.

It's fortunate that, despite lots of items remaining still on, M has changed so much for me between two weeks ago and last week, meaning that I had to print a whole new copy rather than have annotations of an earlier one everywhere. It didn't seem fortunate at the time as I was printing the list again having only printed the previous version of it a week before. I used to have - and liked to have - about three weeks to a month without printing a new copy but it's same difference anyway as it's either a new copy or an old one with all the added stuff written onto it.
