    Good evening :).

I have spent hours tonight racing against the XBox One Star Wars Battlefront II pre-order midnight deadline .

If I had been more organised, listened and just accepted that Little Anons could spend their own £70 birthday money for the Elite edition I could have saved hours of hassle and angst :o.

In the end, my advanced Elite MSE mojo kicked in and I have managed to get it down to £54  (possibly less if Cashback tracks).

If anyone else gets caught up with buying XBox games, this is what I did as the best discount seemed to be £2 off Amazon at £68 :(. I read up and found that you can save money buying games from one of the international sites and it is all above board as games are region free :A. So I put it to the test. I purchased $ gift cards from cdkeys (Q Cashback potentially, 5% discount for Apple Pay). $75 gift cards for £50.33. I also paid for 1 month EA access £3.99 (as a discount on XBox One), so £54.32 spent.

I then went through Q to MS, changed the region to US, set the address to a hotel in Delaware (US address needed .. so chose a state with 0% tax ;)), added the gift cards and purchased :).

Some messing about (and still a ridiculous price!), but at least it saved some money for them and they apparently get additional content that is only available with the pre-order version.

    Well done. :T

But I must admit to a smile at the thought of Little Anons sitting and watching and waiting patiently until the deal was done.

I once called in at a 24hr T after babysitting. The car park was quite full and inside there was a very very long queue at the kiosk, which was shut but had SAs standing ready by the tills. The queue was mostly men, all standing patiently but no-one getting served. Turned out they were all waiting for midnight to get some game.

They don’t know yet - I have spent weeks resisting, including tonight without letting on I was looking into it :A.

What a lovely film, very humbling.

    Good morning.

((Lejc)) do you have the closure you needed, if so don't be forced into the situation. You don't want to haunt the rest of your life with his issues. It is ok to walk away, you owe him nothing. You are very delicate anyway at the moment, there are times in life were you have to ignore other people and do what is right for you and yours.:heart:

I was lucky enough to see 'Wonder' too last night. What a great family film. Great message to be kind to everyone.

I had a dream last night that I went to a garden centre with Snap, Sarahdol and hornet girl and when we got there there were some allotments, one belonged to locarr, one to dizzy ditzy and one to a dad who cannot be named :rotfl:.......love thy neighbour:eek:
