  • Morning elite, for those that enjoy haggis (yuk) sainsbobs have the small haggis at £2 but have a 908g one at £1.05p It is the Simone Howie Chieftain haggis. Bought 3 as hubby loves them and it saves me cooking on the nights he has it as he has to cook them. Each one should last him 3 nights.:j

Please note I have mastered the £ sign by putting a code in each time. (had help from ds2:o)

Nice one, love haggis, thanks to my geography teacher at school (many moons ago) who brought the real stuff in for us to try.
I've just checked tesco cause I saw some at £2 the other day but they are the small ones. The 908g are £3.50:eek:, so £1.05 is an amazing price. I think i'll trot off and get some.

I needed to go to M already today, so I have done a price collection of sorts (best I can do with only one store).

It seems that some of the offers I got only last week were already in their final week (I suppose that was inevitable for some of M's offers) so they appear now to have gone to full price. Of course I am looking at items that have been on temporary offer, so this will be a biased view: it does seem that M is just unable to keep the prices down:( and is now a much more expensive store than only last Wednesday.

It is not as easy as just looking at the SELs to see the prices. I appear to have a store that is showing full price, or has moved to showing full price, on a range of items and is not showing the offers. Four items I scanned turned out to be still on offer and there is another item I suspect is still offer price too, and a further two that I had no stock of. That appears to be seven or more items, from all around the store, that are still on offer but my store happens to be showing full price or has no SEL. One of these is quite a significant difference (and, as far as I know, I didn't have it in many stores last week:rotfl: - that said, once I found it, I didn't continue looking for it elsewhere) - the Stages Power Disney Cars Battery toothbrush that is £12 on a.com and is still £6 in M today (not that you would know from my store's shelves).

It seems that the Pancake Shaker Batter Mix (155g) that I saw at 75p last week may now have gone up to £1. That's what I now have showing, but I've only seen one store, on a price label that still says Pancake Offer. I suppose they can change the prices at will and still call it an offer and, as we are approaching "Pancake Day", it seems very possible it could have gone up. So it may be last chance on A's Pancake Batter Mix - not that we should be buying that as SP Batter Mix would be cheaper (and batter mix can also last for years after its BB date):rotfl:. Last year's version of the Shaker mix in M did go to cheaper than 75p after Pancake Day was all over and done with.

The item I like at the moment is Scholl Corn Express Pen at £10 in A and now at £1 RTC in M:rotfl::rotfl:. I actually have hope of that working later this week as it does seem to be widely available in M. Not to be put with the Pancake Shaker though as the Corn Express Pen was £2 RTC last Wednesday so, if it picks up a price at all for M, it should pick up £2 at the moment. It may continue to pick up £2 if the SELs in the collection stores generally haven't be altered by today.

The Haliborange Kid's Orange Vitamin Softies pack is now £1 RTC (was £3 RTC, £2.98 RTC then £2.50 RTC).

Canesten Canesflor Probiotics Capsules for Vaginal Use (10) is now showing me £2 RTC and Canesintima Intimate Moisturiser (50ml) £1 RTC.

Elsewhere, less significantly perhaps - though I suppose it depends what you need/want - I have one of the post-Christmas items, Ultimate Games Mini Games, going from £1 RTC to 50p RTC. I don't know what price the Medium Selection Boxes now are - I gather they have already been 50p in other Ms but that that may have been store-specific sticker reductions from £1 'RTC' 'national' price ('RTC' in quotes there as, IMO, it is hardly a very good "reduction" given that £1 is a regular offer price seen on them and "no-one would ever buy them at £2 full price" (unless they were on a comparison shop)). I don't know whether they have gone to 50p generally - the version I have in my store is alleged to be what I am taking to be full price SEL on them now, at £1. That could stand to reason - the Mini Cheddars etc. tins seemed only to have gone to £1 RTC this year (watch them now be 50p at some store now they've vanished from all of mine:rotfl:) and the large (600g) bags of Salted and Roasted Peanuts (separately obviously), that were due to be 2 for £4 offer until July this year:(, did go onto "RTC" last week - but this time only to £2:( (no saving at all on the mbuy) rather than the wished-for £1 so they remain too high and no good for me.

I just need to think about which full prices I ignore and which items I now take to full price and remove from the list, possibly in error:rotfl:. I suppose the idea is that I may see what some of these items claim to be on Wednesday and then correct them back to what prices they should be (or otherwise go back down in error if my other store has failed to remove the offer label when they have actually gone to full price). That is only two days and I may not go to M that day anyway - I wasn't going to bother this week. There is of course no chance of me having the list fully updated before Wednesday, but then again I haven't had a properly-updated list today and yet have still managed to change some information of sorts. I won't be able to do much tomorrow. I have a 'fun day' ready:( with cover for someone else's doctors' appointment in the morning and car servicing in the afternoon, so no chance of much else being done.

buggger i forgot all about that :o due 15 mins :(

That's an interesting one - I didn't think of that:rotfl:. Many thanks for that - I'll remember it for next time (I will as well:rotfl::rotfl:). Maybe it is wrong of me to draw attention to it and quote it:think::naughty:. So - it is acceptable to elongate it and say it for a little longer but shortening it is not? Just needs stretching out of shape, again:rotfl:.

    Good evening Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
For those who have already done the Alcatel Cashback - could I ask please how long after you sent the phone in did you receive your Cashback offer? Sent mine last Tuesday but not heard yet. Am I being too impatient?

Many thanks for this - I had Hall's Haggis in my M now showing me full price but that could be still on £1.50 'offer' price. I had to leave it up in the air this time and therefore ending with me having no idea. I also got details of a new one, but neither the Hall's nor this other one are anywhere near as good as the 908g price on the one in S. I am very pleased that you have helped me as this has allowed me to resolve the Hall's Haggis by deletion from the list:T:T. (Or to "propose" deletion anyway - I haven't yet actually got round to deleting it from the list:doh:. It will go!)

nothing to do with cb but I bought a alcatel phone which was mentioned on here and that was suppose to have nfc on it (said so on the argoos website) but when I put the AP on it a note popped up saying this phone doesnt have nfc or something like that.
Anyway, eventually took it back to argoos . It had cost me £65. As the lady was putting the refund through, she says £89.99. So I say yeah (ooops) Serve them right for giving me wrong info on their website.
So was cb in a roundabout way
