My meeting with" my lady "was interesting and until I read Mrs 3 dogs post earlier I had no idea what to say.
but as she always does it's the wonderful Mrs3D's way of putting things into context that suddenly made it all clear.
The general view seems to be that whilst its not quite time for my friend to say goodbye to others in his life...it is time for he and me to say goodbye to eachother ...so easy to say,so easy to relate to and understand but suddenly so hard to do.
But I will.....the timing "my lady " thinks should be soon whilst we are not disadvantaged by the constraints of him being in hospital ....and on a neutral ground where neither of us are at an advantage.
She believes it should be face to face and final.
Time to get my head round it and prepare.
I've said all along that I dont intend to be anywhere near at the end or at a funeral but I did I think always hope that the face to face after 7 years might have been on better terms.
In my own time........thats what I have taken away from today.....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
Marigold TMF
These are £3 in T at present (£2.25 in A) don't know if they'd compare but handy for cond spends.

OH got a sandwich while he was out - he mitigated this offense by bringing back some receipts for snapping including a River Island one.
So when we went to Sainsburys - on the pretext of doing a return and the recycling, I had to get 9 things so I got the tea bags we needed and the cat food gravy tins plus 3 sparkling waters and 4 bananas.
I should then have had 9 envelopes to open but instead I only had 5 - this has happened before on previous days, the envelopes dont match the number of shops
Really I should open them as we go along instead of waiting for home.
All that todays envelopes produced were a £3 Greggs, better than nothing and yet more prize draws.
At least there will be plenty of receipts to snap for shopprize and shoppix - Errant son is not impressed so Its no use giving him my spare receipts so he can run his own shopix
Just to have to keep the receipts ready for snapping in chronological order and bull dog clicked together.
The credit card bill is also going to be several pages long as well - this could cause domestic strife in some households
I suppose ideally you need a shop or shops with self scan tills close to or enroute from work/home/school so you are not going off your normal route and using up petrol, time and energy doing your daily 10 shops.
Not that it really matters on days when you manage to win more than once“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Well I went to local Asda today to buy just three of the glitter balls, no fillers and I thought I’d use a £9.80 apg. All went fine till the checkout girl said ones cracked and there was a piece gone out of it. Of course there wasn t any more there so in the end I thought I’d take all 3 back and hopefully get them again.
Some of these c / s assistants haven t got a clue. Considering this apg business has been running for quite a while. She only wanted to give me the £10.20 I’d paid ,just as if , I said what about the apg ive used ( might just as well have gone in the shop and shouted on the tannoy that I was using one lol) as by the time this girl had taken instruction from someone who did know everyone knew. I got the correct money on a gift card eventually .0 -
