  • Own brand or Value brand? Magnum is 49p for 500ml and tested among the best.

Are you sure it was Magnum your DD tried Di? Surprised as I have only heard good things about it?

One thing for sure, if I run out I will not be paying full price for Fairy :rotfl::rotfl:

    Own brand Asda.

I got it as a filler last year, and it lasted ages.

    Thank you.

Last time I was this low on WUL I was saved by some very cheap ones from Wilko, maybe something will come along this time too. If not then I shall try the Asda one. That said, the bottle I have is one of the very big ones so I have a while, just not a good stock in Elite terms :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh, before I go. Was spending an idle moment trying to work out what financial benefits come with turning 60 which I shall do later this year. Not many is the short answer, apart from eye tests and prescriptions. But did we know that if you join the National Trust Scotland it is far cheaper than the NT in England and you can get into all the English ones free too? Their FAQ even say that you get free parking as well. I am very interested in that one!

    Very little

    https://www.yours.co.uk/money-and-shopping/shopping-and-savings/articles/discounts-and-savings-for-the-over-60s

National Trust - if you have been a member for 5 years out of the last 10 then you can get a £16.50 (???) discount but you have to ring them up to get this.
Otherwise if you go via vouchercodes and use the code you get a £15 gift card with your membership which at least is something. I used a voucher code offer earlier last year and went via monthly direct debit which is £9 a month - if you think you might visit somewhere at least once a month then its worth the cost - £9 is very cheap for a day out if you resist the caf! and the shop :)
Our £15 gift card I used in cafes and I got 2 childrens sized bowls of soups so we have had 2 lunches and I've still got a bit of credit on my gift card. I take forever to eat soup, the childrens size bowls are not that much smaller :)
If you visit the lake District a lot then having membership is a good idea anyway as they own a lot of the car parks up there. The car park sticker is at the back of the membership book.

B & Q have a diamond club which you can get 10% off but only for Wednesday shops. They send you an online email receipt after each visit and there are always conditional spends and very occasional a freebie - emails have your card number barcode so you dont even have to remember to carry your card.

Also check your local cinema. Ours is a low grade Odeon and they have silver screenings - either Tuesday morning or Thursday afternoon - £3 free tea, coffee and a biscuit :))

Local hairdressers might have pensioner discount days - at OHs its Tuesday

I also found this for Dobbies - quite reasonable for a lunch

    https://www.dobbies.com/restaurant/senior-citizens-lunch-offer/

Mind you the powers that be are determined that everyone will be working until they are nearly 70 now so I don't know how its possible to work and fit in pension discount days - you can imagine the interview conversations -
"Yes I'd really like this job as I wont get state pension now until I am 67. I cant work Tuesday - its Odeon silver screen, barbers discount day, I get extra points at Wyevale or lunch at Dobbies and also its Neros free hot chocolate day (and also Marks start their weekend meal deals so I need to be there when the store opens at 9) I cant do Wednesday as its B & Q day and also wuntoo might have a free Costa :) )

    Hi,
From what i understand, yes you can as long as one is the trigger and the others are all sold by sainsburys , so that they compare on the apg.

    Good morning.

Dear glitch fairy I would like fabric conditioner and cabernet sauvignon please and thank you.

Edited to say and dishwasher tablets.

Di Lidl have their own brand dishwasher tabs on offer this weekend, 40 for £1.99. I always use Lidl or Aldi own brands and would recommend them hth.

    Good morning everyone :hello:
  • Sorry to ask again, does anyone know if the mullers work on a home shop as have one ordered. Thanks.

One of the best things you can do is to copy someone else's shop, that's how I found my feet when it comes to glitching.

People usually post what triggers they've used etc :)

Seems to be an Asda oddity.

It certainly was working last night for mumtoo3 and hasn't changed at all in my online view. As we know with glitches, there are no guarantees but this has been good up to now.

Just checked again signed in and out of Asda dotcom and still showing item unavailable for me

11+1 will work until the offer ends on 25th

    .

Yes izzey, an Asda oddity indeed. I still see it on A .com logged in, same as yesterday, but it is unavailable logged out? So as you say, should hopefully work today.

Yes, if one of them is a trigger.
