On the subject of presents we went for dinner with my 13 year old niece recently. every year she gets hand me down clothes etc for her bday from her aunty who has a teenage daughter but couple of years ago my sister in law told them to stop doing it as she is older now and doesnt want used presents. We all gave her money and little pressies so she could but her own things and right at the end of the meal the uncle ( aunty and cousins mad an excuse not to come ) gave her the present. It was wrapped in used paper and was a Jack Wills make up bag that was used and had her cousins name in Sharpie written on it. She hid her feelings really well . How unkind people are

What a vile sounding family Rose (I mean the aunt / uncle - the cousins i'm sure have nothing to do with it - I hope) I used to get a lot of hand me downs from 2 of my cousins but it was never as a gift.

Sending love to all those who are going through tough times atm.

    :)

    Update on That Sister

Tongue is so swollen she has trouble breathing, so no treatment for the mean time.
She has no voice either
Chest x-ray shows she has a chest infection, then throw in shingles too
Anti-biotics started & I've made up a pamper package that I'll post tomorrow on way to work.
Wish I could visit her but it is so far away & I'm keeping her shop open :)
If she is still bad by Thursday I'll go down & stay in Travelodge. She needs to stay there & not come home for the weekends :naughty:

Oh & I've had a word with The Boy's Dad regarding his housekeeping ;)

How long has he had them, Ds3 back is covered looks like whip marks;) he has had them for a few years we where told they where stretch marks but seems odd on a very skinny teen. He also has joint problems now which research says can be a long term side effect if not treated have an appointment with another doctor later in week.. Hope your sons clears up. Xx

Hi rhosynbach- this sounds similar to what some of my family have. check out Ehlers Danlos Syndrome- it could be that (has it got worse with puberty?) xx
