40p is just so attractive, I can see it's hard to refrain.
Mind you mhoc has regular house guests and it would be a lovely gesture to put a brand new shower gel on each pile of guest towels.
Even I have been using it and I am/was a devoted Sanex-only person, so I was very resistant.
Anyway, I used OS and the world did not end. :rotfl:
OMG - you know me so well
40p is a very attractive price - I know I will never get the dizzying mounds of yellow labels for 9p others get regularly so 40p is good enough.
And yes I do have open house and regularly have guests
And yes I do give the weekend guests an upmarket bed and breakfast experience - my last guests were very impressed that I put out towels, bottled water and toothpaste for them as its what they always ask for so I will be upping my game now with OS and other posh toiletries“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Marmite....its the walkers sensations 6 packs that work with the tomato crisps.
sorry marmite....just noticed you realised you got the wrong sensations.
Thanks juju....I realised when I got home...I must have had a moment....but then that's not unusual for me......:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Ridiculous - those dicey T comps. that fail:(. Sadly it seems T is OOS online of the 160 Pyramid Tea - they have Extra Strong version at full price though (A doesn't have 160). A good filler against T now, but on shops other than this. Several of these items, on other shops, should be best vs M (we are talking about normal getting best competitor price rather than trying to reduce an APG) - Redskin Peanuts, SP Chocolate Bars and Rinse Aid.
I can't see a comparable in T for the cheese:(.
Yeah that didn't go great, packed supermarket on a Saturday afternoon just wanted to get in and out..
I also like to change my receipt around after a while it looks a bit suspect when I've a receipt to go with my APG for £20+ and the receipt shows 3 X Give sets and 5 sweets etc. Raises attention so then I'll do a larger shop with multiple items to look like a real shop.. don't forget the next receipt will have already had a APG of £20+ taken of the balance and has produced another £20.
In short a £60 + shop, less the 342 £12 gift set and then another APG left a balance around £25 and a new APG of £20..
First trout in ages on that shop, supervisor and two colleagues looking at it in depth, thought they had been warned. Heard one of then say "try it and if it goes through then we will except it" and it went through fine
Yes the cheese was the wrong one, it was the mild but they had none in stock and my signal on my phone was rubbish for checking the mature so I went for it.
I was going to get some Asda stir fry beef at 2 4 £7 but T are doing this much cheaper. It's weird having to try and find items that lose APG value.
Grabbed the ginsters and mini babybels hoping they would lose a few pence also as these were on offer.0 -
Have a word with yourself Mhoc!! Want? Need? got the space?
Yes, I need to give myself a good slapping
Need - no, if we use an average of 2 shower gels a month then we have enough shower gel to last years.
Want - well they work out at 40p and the colours are so pretty when they are all lined up
Space - well I could just about squeeze some in. I had a major toiletry stash overhaul last weekend and all of the shower gels are in one shelf in the middle section of the wardrobe, all lined up, so much more organised now.
If someone ran out of something now I could get them a replacement in seconds or I could tell them exactly which shelf to look on.
And I've sectioned off a few things like hair care which will go into the next food bank trolley so there will be a little more space - just need an excuse to go to Mr T ie new cashback items.
but I do get joy out of buying toiletries - I think that is a hangover from the long ago Mr T H and B days“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Epic is a magazine?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
why is your Co op card always giving you MOCs? Is it because of your co op region?
Or because you regularly shop there although for only one item at a time
I've no idea tbh.
Locally a lot of Co-ops have morphed into McColls, a sad loss.
There are still 5 left though which I call at, mostly to look at the rtcs or to spend a moc.
4 of them are on the way to and from work, so each needs only a slight tweak in my usual route. I've never been to more than one in a day.
The 5th is in the wrong direction but is next to a charity shop and has parking, so that's handy when cumbersome items need to be dropped off.
What tends to happen is I get a moc in one but if I don't feel like spending it immediately, I spend it somewhere else the next time, then weirdly that seems to generate a moc. And so it goes. Didn't get a till spit moc today, he just gave me back the one I'd just used. It expires tomorrow. I can't decide if its return to me is an oversight or an invitation.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »What a shame - the one you bought more of, we don't think M have:(. I think people can stick to my list - you can't go wrong!
Yup it was my T list that had the new one not M... So by those 3 not comparing it knocked out the Apple one as in M it's 2 4 £2 and left me with 5 instead of a 6 (need these in 3's for M)...
It's all part of the game making the mistakes and learning from it.. I just find when your in the shop and they don't have what you wanted it's a last minute change, never easy with 100s of people in the way. :eek:0
