So you got the meal deal one accepted
But not the £3 off a sale item?

Bothe Mands I've been in today had masses of sale items but I didn't have the energy to go through the rails - just getting the meal deals was enough of a struggle

Yes I did. Not the £3 off a sale item which was £9.99.

This makes it sound like if you buy then return you will not get anything back for the droid gift card expenditure so no way to combine multiple cards towards a single purchase (beyond £3 and £5 working together as we have already discovered).

Has anyone else had the CS try but fail to get an M&S code to work but later found that that code still now shows up as used?

No combining, no returning - straight purchase for value of voucher or above only.

AP again... Has anyone had problems even adding a card to the wallet?

Tried 2 different Nationwide cards and a Halifax card, all get to 'Your bank is verifying' stage then stuck on that for about 30secs, then get either "there was a problem, please go back and check your details" or "couldn't verify, please try later".

Never had this with any of the other times I've tried.

NWide added fine on Thursday - Halifax needed a phone call and I couldn’t be bothered :D.

Both went to verification stage though.

I really like hearing about your very small shops - very inspirational.
My best days are when I've got out of the house, done the rounds of the shops, got some fresh air and come back having spent less than £5 :D

    Thanks :D

55p of yesterday's spend was on rtc parsnips and carrots at a Co op (it's next door to a charity shop where I'd just donated a load, one of the few locally with parking outside.)

For the day-to-day, I quite like Co op. In yesterday's store, they actively promote their rtcs, pricing them low from early on, and the till ladies will ask you if you've seen the 10p tomatoes etc.

Can anyone advise on best catfood deals please (mhoc ?)

Our old cat only ate dried. I've just purchased 120 sachets of whiskas from FF for £22. I added £3 worth of food and used £2.50 off moc so £19.50 for 120 sachets. Is that a good deal or is there a better way. I suppose tins should work out cheaper ?

    Tia xx

Have a great weekend everyone xx

Tinned cat food does work out cheaper in theory but it depends. Cans are the equivalent of 4 sachets - more really as most sachets now are 85g instead of 100g.

But can your cat eat an entire can in less than a day. Cats like their food really fresh so they tend to turn their noses up if the can is open too long. I think there used to be plastic lids you could get for cans - very useful in summer to save open cans getting too pungent.

Also most cat food is jelly. Our cats last November suddenly decided they hated jelly so I had to search all shops for gravy cat food, not many places do more than one type and the best I could find was in Sainsburys - 6 for £2.60 ??? I think)

I tend to have numerous varieties of canned food and swap them around every day or so then they don't get fed up and refuse to eat - we mostly use canned food now and everyone is eating well, the fox only gets plate scrapings now.
I have a few special sachets for when there is just Ronnie on his own. Or Sophie cat who thinks she is a princess - sometimes I can give her half of a Sheba 60g sachet and she would hardly finish it.

I've used Amazon pantry twice now as they have had the Butchers choice 6 cans for £2.60 - same as Asda. 6 sets of 6 fill one Amazon box with room for a few other groceries as well - I choose things that give me free delivery.

As for dry I am just coming to the end of my Iams stockpile. Back last May I got an industrial sized bag of some Burgess cat food which I think was £23 - very good quality food and this lasted 4 months so it worked out very good value. I swapped it about with the iams and some other dry that I got for nectar points - cats loved it and did well on it - so when I can build up my Amazon credit again I will be getting another of these.

I really like using our Co-ops but they don't make it easy.
The new one, only open a few months has a tiny car park but now a gym has opened next door so getting on and off is going to be much worse especially as the exit is onto a main road and directly opposite another road off a big estate.
The other one in the village we went to before Christmas. It has no car park as such but what is has is for industrial bins, staff cars and the huge articulated lorry that delivers to it. The alternative is to park on the official car park at the other end of the village or to park on a side road.
But at 9 in the morning a car park warden was walking around inspecting vehicles :mad:

And the RTC offers are hopeless
Both are just about within walking distance if and when the weather gets better but that restricts what you can get to what could be carried in the rucksac.

I feel though it must be time for me to be able to get another till spit money off voucher if I could think of something we actually need.

Shame, had I known I would have shared the love when I applied for this. Does the card come automatically or does one need to claim it? Does one cancel the policy once they have the card or just the DD?
    :)

The card come automatically 2-3 weeks after 1st payment and not after 4th payment (I think) as T&C's state, Ive just canceled the DD after I received the card...

Mrs received her card today, £75 now for referalls.
    Strange 🤔

I've recently used One4all cards as part payment in Argos.

    SnS

I used 4 x One4all cards totalling £31 in halfords in part payment for a bike b4 Xmas, real faff tbh, the SA has to enter the amount left on the card for it to go thru...it does work, just need an SA that knows what they are doing....
