My DS1 took 16 months to find a job, after graduating with a Masters. Even with that, firms want experience....
DS2 is still looking, 19 months after graduating.

I wish your DS well Marmie, hope he does get a job offer. And kudos to him, for wanting to wear his suit for the Skype interview.

Thank you midwinter.....It really frustrates me that they ask/want experience...How on earth do you get it if you cannot find a job to gain it in the first place.....The interview he is having is for a job near Manchester....He is more than willing to move to find a job...Obviously, I would rather he find a job locally to me...Pappy could look after him...:rotfl::rotfl:

Sadly our eldest could not get a job after finishing his degree, panicked and went abroad where he has had a whale of a time.

What is his degree in? What does job is he applying for?

He has been abroad a couple of times working for charities...Once to Germany and to Nigeria for 3 months stints.He loved it.......He has a degree in International Business
