Looks like I missed the best whoopsies this week at my Ts. I snoozed and losed when they were 90/95% reductions according to the other regulars, was only 70/80% today.
Managed a nice outdoor reared pork loin on the bone joint down from £17 to just over £5. When I've got it home it is actually pretty tiny, it is swimming in it's box. :rotfl:
I was swimming too, out in the back garden with Dylan. :rotfl: Hope most of you miss him tonight he certainly is getting his wind up...0 -
I never get woopsies. I was at morribobs, and there was 3 old blokes just hogging it and putting everything in their baskets, I really cant be bothered with the local scrum.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I have gone overboard already and the best reductions probably haven't even started yet.
Got some smoked applewood, Mexicana, Roquefort, Wensleydale with Apricots and some creamy blue stuff all between 58p and 86p. Limited myself to 2 of each as will give DD some to take back to Surrey with her.
Oh and one quarter extra special stilton, I had already bought a half stilton from Sainsbobs other day what am I like? :rotfl:0 -

The trick is to get friendly with them DM.
I don't go that often now but I do chat to the "regulars" and find I don't need to get to the front of the scrum anymore, they ask me what I am looking out for (was party food tonight) and they pass odd things back to me.
I'm also happy to pay a bit more than they are sometimes so often things get put back on the shelf like the pork was, apparently the joints were only £2.70 odd last night, I bet everyone filled their boots then, I only have my tiny shoes. :rotfl:0 -

I don't really but often enough to recognise the same faces, it's taken couple of years though to get to "know" them. But then I do like to chat.0
