Army Pensions On Divorce
CONFUSED1_3
Hi, just wondering if anyone out there can help me out with info regarding what happens with an army pension on divorce ? I was married to a soldier for 16 years and have 3 beautiful children from the marriage ages 17,15,and 10. My ex husband was medically discharged from the army and receives a monthly pension of £200 from them. i have just been informed by my solicitors secretary that the judge has granted me 50% of my ex husbands pension but am very confused as to how i will be awarded this ? do i have to wait to i am old and grey for my share or will i to be paid a monthly amount ? any info on this would be grateful . thanks

I think you may have to wait until you are old and grey for the age related pension - don't know about the disability bit though
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0
