PPI with Northern Rock

Can anyone tell me if I have to continue paying PPI if I pay off my loan with Northern Rock. I've been told I have to continue paying as it is with a seperate provider

    No, you can cancel it.

I cancelled mine a few months ago. They were very aggressive and tried to bully me into keeping it, but I stuck to my guns.

Cancelling the PPI meant signing a new agreement, but the interest rate remained the same.

I am now claiming for the mis-selling of the PPI policy.
