Good price (although this is a discontinued model and has been replaced by the 9000 model). Only downside is £6.99 P&P.0

i looked at the 9000 model before and it was double the price.
this model still seems to be £50+ less than other online retailers. Infact some stores had it on for £300.0 -
Road angel are awesome, if I didn't have a cheap one that does the job I'd buy this right now - plus the fact that I'm broke - well slightly worse than that.
Though do beware of the subscription costs! There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0 -
The Navigator will calculate routes in seconds, so it's great once it's located the satellites. Unfortunately it can take up to 40 minutes to work out where it is!
I've replaced my navigator with a TomTom One XL, mounted in the same spot btw, which takes less than a minute to pinpoint its position every time its switched on.
So beware the Navigator!
Best wishes, Neil0 -
Sorry to pee on the fire but RA Navigators are a pile of steaming poo.
I won a RA Navigator 7000 at work and I fitted in my company car to take advantage of the speed camera alerts.
What's bad about it?
(1) The screen resolution is poor and graphics render as blocky images.
(2) The user interface winds me up. Icons aren't intuitive and in what you would expect to be the right position.
(3) GPS lock is poor. Sorry make that non-existent at times. I've got a TT Go 720 in the wifes car and sometimes run the RA 7000 at the same time to see what routing I get. Well on one trip from Kent to North Wales the RA 7000 finally achieved a GPS fix on the Welsh border! Most of the time it takes 15 minutes or more.
I would really advise people considering RA products to seriously consider Garmins and Tom Toms even if it means paying an extra £20 or so.The man without a signature.0
