Notice period during probation

Hi Everyone
I have been at my current workplace for 5 months. I've just had a better job offer.
My standard notice period is 3 months. However in the contract i've just seen the following;
The first 6 months of your employment shall be a probation period. The employer may at its absolute discretion extend the probationary period for up to a further three months
Notwithstanding clause 9, during or on the date of the expiry of your probationary period, either you or the Employer may terminate your employment by giving to the other not less than two weeks notice in writing
Clause 9 is the section of the contract that deals with notice period. It just says as standard notice is 3 months during which time you wont get bonus etc.
Am i correct in assuming the above means that during my probation, I can leave with just two weeks notice?

Yep - you can leave with 2 weeks notice, just the same as they can ask you to leave with 2 week notice....0
