National express or Easybus

Hi,
I need to get inti London from Stansted and return on the same day, preferably at specific times.
Is it cheaper to buy tickets in advance than just hop on at departures?
I noticed that Easybus prices are much cheaper, are they reliable?
Thank you

It's always cheaper to book in advance (online is cheapest). With National Express you book a specific coach but you can get a fully flexible ticket (looking at their ticket page for just a couple of pounds extra over a standard ticket, it's well worth paying that small extra amount trust me! A standard ticket can be amended but it'll cost you a minimum of £5 to change it) The flexible ticket means you can change the time/day of the coach you want to travel on for free as long as you change it BEFORE the time of the coach you booked to travel on. You can change your booking through their website or over the phone or at the coach station ticket desk.

Easybus - no idea cheap and cheerful and judging by some online reviews the buses didn't turn up and when they did have very limited luggage storage space and no toilet on the bus.
