I've worked out that I have finished paying my student loan (well I have about £80 left, but that's less than what they take each month out of my wages).
I have been on the phone to the Student Loans Company who say they have put a stop to it, but can't really tell me how much there is left as they need proof that I have actually paid my debt (which they will get either next April or if I send in payslips).
The payroll that my bosses use say that they will continue taking the money until they receive a Stop Notification from the Student Loans Company.
I feel that I have done all I can, but they are still going to be taking money by the looks of it. The SLC say they have stopped the account, but payroll say they haven't received a notification.
What do I do now? That extra £104 will come in handy in my wages each month.
