HP Car Finance
Hi guys, I have recently signed up for finance through zuto and was given the impression I choose a car i like, they process the paperwork which i have signed and returned and then i can go look at the car and check it over. However they have paid the dealer straight away and it turns out im having that car weather I like it or not.
The finance company says i have 14 days right to withdraw with no reason needed however does that mean I would still have to have the car and pay by other means?
I haven't even seen the car yet and as far as I was concerned I was going to be checking it out before any payments were to be sent.
Am I able to get out of this arrangement or will I still be forking out for the car?
Thanks!

It entirely depends on what you have agreed to.0

cancel the finance it sound well dodge ! And you don't understand it therfore should not have been sold to you. DO that first.
2nd tell the car company to GFTs.
3rd I get the impression you may have bought online? as you dont appear to have seen the car? If so that is called 'off premise sale' to which the new consumer contracts regulations now apply (as of 2014). Which means you have 14 days withdrawal right after delivery of the product!. You would have to google and look into that further. If you get stuck simply get help from the financail ombusdman (sorry spellin) service. FOS. easy to find online. They will sort it every time in your favour.0 -

Thanks for the reply, yes I applied online.. Have spoken to the finance company and have been told my only option is to launch a complaint.
They will then investigate if zuto gave me the wrong idea about the whole process or not. Can't see that going my way tbh but if it doesn't go my way they will cancel the finance and I will have to pay the dealer in 30 days through other means.
The annoying thing is I just wanted to go look at the car and if all was okay then great I would of accepted that car. But not even being given the chance to look at it at all before the dealer was paid just doesn't seem right.
Is it a bad idea to even go look at it now? Will that make it worse, the dealer is messaging me asking when i'm going to collect.0
