Hi
Why would an AIP be referred and does it being accepted by an underwriter make any difference at full application?....im getting differing opinions on this
Anyone have experience of this with their own application?
Thanks

Numerous reasons, usually due to policy or so an underwriter can make a final decision.
Anything to feel nervous about?

I was nervous due to our outgoing which my broker seemed less concerned about and we have said we will pay off 2 commitments before completion.
We have actually been accepted.....i really just wanted to know if being already reviewed by underwriter helps our full application or makes no difference
Thanks0 -
Depends on lender.
Some lenders will have AiP underwriters and full application underwriters. Other lenders just have one pool of underwriters, and they may actually have a policy where the same underwriter completes both stages.
As long as too much doesn't differ from AiP to Full application, especially if its been reviewed by an underwriter, then I wouldn't expect any issues with the outcomeI am a Mortgage Broker.
