Three network coverage in N Ireland (antrim)?

Hi I am going to get my daughter a mobile (iPhone 7 plus) for Christmas and three are offering a lot more data (which she would use !) but I have never used three so don't know what their signal would be like? No point in getting loads of data if she can't get online to stream Netflix! I also want to ensure I can call her and her be in signal. I checked the three coverage checker and it said very good but when I look at their map some places appear to be greyed out. Anyone have three in antrim could give me a review? Thanks :)

I find that all the mobile networks are generally good in populated areas of NI.

The only issue is, remote rural areas can be patchy.

If she doesnt live there it will be OK

3 uses the EE (orange) network

    .
  • Thanks for this

Sorry, I only answered because I am on 3 - assumption on my part!

Yes I can make and receive calls as good as a landline in my opinion

Three have their own network. They do share infrastructure with EE though.
  • I thanks, she goes to school in parkhall and gets the bus at the station. Other than that she's a teenager so will walk about all over but mainly around the town and junction one.
  • (Sorry not County Antrim - it's antrim town)

Surely you would only stream Netflix on a wifi connection?
