Hi guys,
Unfortunately i seem to have missed the mega bargain that was on the site about the canoscan 5000f at amazon for £39.99, can anyone else recommend a scanner for me?
Mostly for uni coursework, but if it could scan photos or negatives too, that would be fab. Don't really wanna pay more than £80 ish but depending on features maybe a little higher. Have looked at the canon lide 30 which appeals cos of its size, is it any good???? Or any others I should look at?
Many thanks, am gonna keep trying amazon to see if the other canon comes back in stock for a while!!!!

As my steam powered Mustek has just died I'm looking at the (very)new HP Scanjet3770. Does fast scans and slides as well. Best price i've found so far is http://www.computerwebstore.co.uk/productinfo.asp?productID=1756
Not used them yet so can't say how good they areThe scanner got 27/30 in Micromart tests.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
