Has anyone tried the coupons, last time the barcode did not scan
Same here, so I tidied up the original fuzzy barcode using an online barcode generator that gave a good sharp image, and pasted that onto the DM gif before printing. Scanned a treat, and no deception, just avoiding disappointment. Just google barcode generator and cut&paste the code it produces onto the DM image using a graphics program.

First post here, been reading this thread for a while and appreciate the info, so hope this helps.

which stores did you get them accepted?

Tesco, that is the only place that I even try - my Asda won't accept ANY book tokens at all. I have had some co-operative sa's this week, who when the coupon wouldn't scan - even using the hand scanner, input the code numbers, and went thru' fine.

    I haven't tried todays - But.......

Off topic, but when you are in Tescos either buying your Mails, or using the book coupons, keep your eyes peeled for blue flyers advertising money off electrical and clothing - £6 off a £30 spend of either.

These give you £6 off your shopping irrespective of if you have bought ANY clothing or electrical.:j There are two coupons per flyer - so flyer is worth £12 !!!!!!!!!!:T

Hope this makes up for my lack of contribution on the newspaper front;)

p.s I think you have to spend £30 in total before it will accept the coupon, but not just £30 on clothing or electrical only - hope that makes sense !

    <<<<<<<<PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE>>>>>>>

I missed Wednesdays copy of The Sun for the Free Day at Theme Park (as I was sure they originally said they would print the coupon to attach it to in Fridays icon_mad.gif ). If any one has Wednesday's that they won't be using can they PM. I will a send a SAE to them.

I am in a bit of trouble because I have already told my kids that we will be going and now I am not sure we will be able to without the voucher....icon_sad.gif

Used saturdays coupons 3x now no probs but
had trouble with todays coupon it would not scan so i said
"i have another one here (saturdays mail)"
    that scanned ok

I think the best trick is to go to tesco's when its quiet and find a regular worker NOT A TEMP who only does 3-4 hours here and there and build up a rapour .
Me and my husband are on first name terms with a very nice guy and he takes all our vouchers and if there is someone in front of us who does not collect points he gives us their point too. ;)
