Hi
Just want to check if this is a problem when applying for mortgages;
HSBC have asked for non bank account statements as proof of address. But because we're renting in flat (communal post area) my husband kept most of all his documents still at home address. Only proof of address will be utility bills & council tax I believe
Thanks

I'd assume council tax bill/utilities bills/driving license would be fine?I am a Mortgage Broker.

Council tax or driving licence as proof of residence with your passport as proof of ID are accepted 99% of the time.0
