Applying for mobile phone contract before full mortgage application submitted bad idea? Previous contract will be cancelled. The monthly payments will be the same. Thanks

Can’t say for definite as dont know your other circumstances, but I took out a new contract 2 months before applying for a mortgage and all was fine. Nothing was flagged/ queried/ asked.0
