As discussed previously, I think it's only fair and in all MSEers best interests to share good reviews of restaurants (and bad, but that's a separate story).
Had a really nice meal at this restaurant last night - they describe themselves as Italian fusion cuisine, although I'm not too sure what it's fused with. Despite the small menu there was plenty of variety and, although it seemed a little on the pricey side compared to some places, probably the freshest food you'll see on a restaurant plate. Can thoroughly recommend the citrus chilli duck pizza (really interesting flavour, good chilli kick) and the pork cutlets (OH said they were the nicest she'd tasted in years). Two mains, two minerals, two sides, one dessert and one espresso came to £41. Add to that the fact that the floor staff were exceptionally affable and attentive and you've got a winning combo.

Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Another thumbs up for D'Angelo, it's an Italian in my book, but there are Asian influences. Bit pricier than some, but excellent food. I'm not really a wine person, but they seem to have a really big selection of that too. And definately stay for desert!
