My Henry has given up I am thinking of buying a cordless vac or buying another Henry I only have carpet in the bedroom no pets
Any thoughts as I hear good and bad about cordless ones my budget is around £100 same price as the Henry vac.
Thank you,
I don't want a dyson regards cleaning filters out etc.

There is a cordless Henry now...make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Well, definitely cordless, whatever brand. After tripping myself up for the third time on my vacuum cord, I knew cordless was the way to go. Have not regretted it for a minute.0

Can I ask what make yours is as my friends mom has one and she said it is no good maybe I need to check out reviews on them.0 -
The major criticism of cordless vacuum cleaners is how rapidly they lose power. It seems to vary quite a lot so well worth doing your research before you commit.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

We have tried various cordless, including gplan and dyson most recently and have now gone back to a wired dyson.
In theory cordless are great but although I am a person who likes to hoover daily and they are never charged when you need it to be. They do need quite a lot of maintenance to keep them picking up with the same power, cleaning of filters etc. In my experience not good with cleaners.
My mum loves hers, but she is the type of person who leaves it on charge every day.0 -

I bought this one. If you have two floors and actually vacuum the whole house in one go, then maybe you'll need an extra battery, but I've found it perfectly adequate with only one.

IMHO if you go cordless unless you have only a very small area to clean you'll regret it.
Go Henry every time and for your carpets buy the rotating brush head, which you can find for as little as £10/11 at various places.0 -
I bought a Beldray 22.2V from Robert Dyas, for under £100. I have a 3 bed house and never had a battery problem, the suction is good and you can remove a bit of it to make it hand held.
Sorry I don't know how to post a link0 -
It's not cheap... but I have a Shark cordless and would recommend it to anyone! It is fantastic (and I have animals too, and it picks up the hair brilliantly. )0

I had a Henry. It got stuck everywhere and I hated it. Switched to Miele Cat and Dog and its great and will defiantly recommend if you want to go corded Vac0
