Leeds building society mortgage recommendations

It's sounding like after an AIP Leeds building society would present a list of mortgage products that are available but would want to recommend one and the one they recommend might have a mortgage advisor attached to it, which would require fees.

Is it always advisable to go for their recommended option? What protections would that give?

    Im not sure I really understand your post.

    But if you receive advice from someone regulated to give advice and ut turns out to be bad advice. You are protected by their insurance and also the Financial services compensation scheme (FSCS).
