Free Firewood - Local to West Devon/SE Cornwall

Sorry this is a local one but,
Tavistock Woodland Sawmills in Gulworthy, Devon are giving away firewood.
It comes in 8ft or 16ft long bundles, so you need a trailer or a flatbed to collect it. These are basically the outer slabs/slices from the trunks (that they can't do anything else with) as they are cut into planks.
You will also need a chainsaw to cut it into the right lengths for your fire. But each 8ft bundle weighs around 1 1/2 tonne.

The thread is hardly new and pre dates 2008, not sue why the need you signed up to bump an old thread up then sign off
