Love to Shop voucher advice

Hi, I think I know the answer but wondered if if anyone has been able to get around the following situation:
Daughter received Love to Shop vouchers as gift, but months of being in the purse the counterfoil has come away from the voucher. It does state that vouchers will become invalid, and I see she cannot use online.
Shame to lose them, any ideas or do I tell her there is no point pursuing a purchase?

Take them to a shop where the vouchers are accepted, explain what has happened (she can't be the first person this has happened to!) and ask if they would be willing to accept them as payment for her purchase(s) from the shop in question.0
