    Trying to keep track of spends -

    20th
    Tesco shop yesterday ended up being £39.36 because they sent a carbonara pot instead of the noodle one, so had to send it back due to it containing milk.
    DH spent £4.75 at work - guessing it was his lunch, but shopping wasn't delivered until the afternoon, so I will forgive him. He also put petrol in, but it was pay at pump so has only taken £1 at the moment, will check with him later how much it actually was.
    Total = £44.11 + petrol

    21st
    DH spent £1.95, which is annoying because he took lunch with him today. (But I am being hypocritical, cos.. see below..)
    I had a spendy day too - £13.88 groceries, £20 diesel, £21.48 cubes in Argos, £5.98 on food storage tubs and door mat, £1 fine at library, £6 (unplanned and unnecessary) vinyls for our water bottles and £4.55 on a coffee date with DS :o
    Total = £74.84

    Goodness. Thinking sensibly, we could have spent about £14.53 less today.

    Remaining: £140.06

    Fuel: £150

    Another £1 on PA. Today should be a NSD as well.

    Yesterday my midwife said baby is head down and we are GO for Operation Home Birth. Also the landlord inspection went okay, I think. I am feeling really knackered today though, I think it's a combo of relief that both things went well, the amount of housework I've done this week and obviously, being heavily pregnant. DS is being quite challenging at the moment too, unless he's plugged in to the telly, which isn't really what I want to do with our last few weeks as a twosome!

    I was supposed to put a stew in the slow cooker this morning but couldn't be bothered...! If I can find the energy I will do some baking with DS this afternoon. Goodness, I just want to sleep all day.

    Good news on baby being head down. My DD is also exhausted and she is 33 weeks now so getting closer. As she is on maternity leave she has kept her DD in childcare as usual so at least gets to rest during the 6 hours she is in nursery or with grandparents. Being heavily pregnant with a toddler according to a mumsnet thread is more exhausting than having a newborn and toddler so hopefully the exhaustion will start to get better after your baby is here.

    Oh wow! I really hope that's true! Thank you :) I'm looking forward to having my uni work finished so I get to relax during the time that my mum has DS instead of studying. Bet the baby comes as soon as I've finished though haha.

    I think I'm going to get a mini statement from the bank for DS's account today, just to satisfy my curiosity. Luckily he doesn't need anything at the moment so I have no plans to use any of it.

    March hits my 'birthdays' account pretty hard, and I had to take £75 out, and £30.77 from the 'car' account for AA cover. April shouldn't see us need to take anything from the savings, fingers crossed. So our monthly payments should put us back up to where we were.
