Remortgage with incorrect charge

Our buyers are remortgaginf to release funds to buy our property (and getting a mortgage on our property)
Both mortgages approved early Sept and now have issues (know mortgage 2 isnwith halifax)
Mortgage 1 - mortgage
Solicitor (slowest I've ever dealt with) has found last week property has charge on it with housing association incorrectly and now trying to get removed
Mortgage 2 - Halifax
Valued has put down wrong address (which is strange as he confirmed it with me when he did valuqtion)
Has anyone any ideas how long this will take to rectify as it's holding up exchange (I still don't know why these errors have taken over a month to come to light)
