Male early 50's with lump sum circa 50k currently held as cash. I am maxed out with ISAs etc already have a DB pension, essentially i am seeking the holy grail of a return with low risk as its sat doing nothing at the moment. I'm also conscious that low risk = low returns so i am wary of platform/fund charges,,any ideas or is it impossible?
Thanks
Thanks
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Have you got any future plans for this money e.g you'll need it in x years time and will need y amount of money?
As to low risk, what is your idea of low risk? To most people low risk would probably mean 0% chance of losing money, so it would actually be some kind of savings scheme rather than investing they would be best investigating. Investing is going to mean the chance of losses, though long term (i.e. 10 years plus) you are likely to be ahead of what you would get by simply putting it into a savings account.0 -
Well the problem is,as it sits as cash its losing its value. I need to at least preserve its value so that would be a good start !Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry).
