Tooth Implant

Can someone please recommend to me a dentist in order to get a dental implant assessment and possibly treatment?
Looking for someone based in Belfast, if possible.

I was doing some research on this and going abroad to get it done is a big NO NO! because of the risk of the implant screw not settling in, seems infections can start and people can end up with a big hole in the jaw.

It would be nice to get a place even more local but though its a very specialised dental procedure most implant dentists form my research online want their £2000+.

I did email them one time enquiring whether they had any plans to set up here, they said they were thinking about it, but nothing materialised.
If they did come and they are good, sure would shake up the system here pricewise.

Still a lot less expensive than N Ireland,

First priority of course should be Good Treatment where price becoming a second priority, although its a highly specialised procedure, seems no competition at all around here.

As someone who is very interested too in this would be grateful if you might post back about how you get on.

Thanks - at this stage I'm looking for a second opinion on my initial treatment plan. So would be looking for something Belfast based.

Funny story...when I moved here I signed up with a dentist, got some fillings, tooth extracted the usual kind of work. Nice pleasant person to go to as well. Only problem was, that after each visit I had such discomfort in my mouth was taking anadin tablets for a few weeks later. happened every time.


I never had this kind of experience before and had to sign on with a different dentist who is brilliant been with him for years.


How surprised I was when the original dentist went totally private and now running a dental implant service.
