Finally Mortgage FREE ☺

I made my final mortgage payment and it could not have come at a better time.
Now I need to remove my old partner from Land Registry and property ownership. I paid him for his part when we split, I got him to sign something and we got our withness to also sign.

Does anyone know how I go about proceeding and will I need a solicitor?

You need to instruct a solicitor to handle a transfer of equity. This effectively will transfer property ownership from joint to sole and remove your old partner from the land registry records.
