Employment Credit Check

Hello everyone, wondering if anyone could help?

I have recently been offered a hr manager job with a property company. When filling out paperwork it said I will need a credit and CRB check. I am wondering what will they see? I made bad decisions when I was younger and my credit isn’t perfect.

Basically can anyone help with?
1) what will they see?
2) does my hr positions require a check even tho the company is refestered with the fsa? As I won’t be dealing with money
3) what will be the reasons for them not to carry on my offer on the back of my credit check?
4) how long do these checks usually take and I can find out the result?

I can't comment on the credit checks, but there's no such thing as a CRB check: these days it's a DBS check. Yes, if they're entitled to carry one out then you'll see the result. But I'd seriously question whether they are entitled to carry one out ...

Checks I've not paid toward I haven't seen results, I'm sure there is a way if I really was bothered.

My last DBS check took 10 days. Checks carried out in replace of expected lack of references being completed nowadays. As someone in HR or related services should expect.

Credit checks - only look for big things and to protect from ID fraud and worse.
