instant mash question

Which mash do you use please
The one I’m using at the minute is Harvest Basket. Pretty sure it was Lidl’s cheap one. I wouldn’t eat it on its own but the rest of the family have had it and not known any difference. Definitely can get away with it on a shepherds’ pie or smothered in gravy. Especially if you add a blob of butter. I think it tastes much better than frozen mash which always tastes like school dinners from the 1970s to me!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

I do something similar; get Mr LW to cut spuds into chunks (with skin still on), nuke til cooked, then throw 'em in the food processor with a bit of butter and seasoning. My hands are too painful to mash them myself.I'm making mash the lazy way atm.
Just sticking the potatoes in their skin in the microwave for 7 minutes. Then mashing with the skin still left on. It's working well and minimum effort.
Keeps the fibre and skin nutrients also.
You just go with what works for you.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
