Good Morning All
This is a general shout out to all those of you who may run a B&B, guesthouse, or self-catering accommodation..... Have you actually slept the night in your guest beds recently???? (and I don't mean a quick 30 second lie down)
When staying away from home, the most important thing, IMO, is getting a good nights sleep. However, over the years I've come across some of the thinnest, most lumpy, saggy and downright uncomfortable mattresses going, and not always in "cheap" places.
When appropriate, I have let the owner know, but obviously they can't magic a new bed instantly.... but if no one ever tells them, how would they know that their beds are "past it" unless they actually try them out themselves.
So, owners, how much £££ do you "invest" in a good sleep experience for your customers, and what is your routine for reviewing the state of your beds???
Just to add....I appreciate that everyone has a different opinion of what is a "comfortable" bed, but I doubt many people would choose one that collapses down to the base, with a rogue spring up your.......!!!!
