Thanks, but the cards have different numbers, hence two cards?

From this I assume that they are two separate accounts, but one that you use more often than the other? If yes then you can definitely have one voucher per category for each card.

Unsure how it works if you have two card numbers but both linked to the same account.

There's a few own-brand products at Sainsbury's that I prefer to the other brands, including the other supermarkets' own-brands.

Besides, being able to buy, and top up, Sainsbury's gift cards at 4% below face value makes a difference.

OK, I take that last post back. Sainsbury's are determined to ruin every own-brand product they sell. Everything is either getting smaller (at the same price), or else they are lowering the quality.

Up to today, I would have said that if you want to buy the best pickled gherkins you can get, go to Sainsbury's. My suspicions were raised today when I noticed that they had re-designed the packaging.

On looking at the ingredients list, I now find that Sainsbury's "gherkins in vinegar" now contain more sugar than vinegar

    That's another Sainsbury's product I won't be buying.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.

I'm just disappointed that it'll be a month too early for me to get the latest Game Of Thrones DVD. :(

I think I've cracked it - apparently they'll give a full cash refund on anything returned within 30 days with proof of purchase. So I can buy another DVD with the double-up points, and exchange it later for the new one.

Picked up a pair of earphones as mine had had it. Those Gumy ones never last long so I went for something a bit more expensive. They were £20 so I didn't have to pay anything :)

Has anyone used the Seasonal category? I note that cards are included so long as they are not individual ones, but that charity products are excluded. Is it just me or has that ruled out all of the cards?

"Gifting in the seasonal aisle" seems thin on the ground, unless tubs of chocolate are included.

Had £31 of TU for £1 yesterday. Seems it's better to stick to things there's no ambiguity over, as the staff don't seem very confident if asked.

Does anyone know whether you can have 2 vouchers per category, one for the main and one for a supplementary?

I've heard that if you go on two different days you can get two vouchers for the same category. Not tried it yet.

Well today was the final day, so sorry to say but if you still have any 'double-up' vouchers unused - bin them, you are too late.

Was in-store this afternoon, found what I wanted in clothing, and got the voucher. While at the CSD could hear other customers exclaim, after being told they'd need separate vouchers for each department - don't people read the instructions on how it works - doh!

But did quite well, bought £61, less CSV £9, less DUV £10, so paid £42 via Sainsbury Credit card - which gives me 1,000 points for every £35 spent.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Went on Saturday and Monday. Got two £40 wine vouchers, one each day. So the answer to my Q In post 16 was "yes". Worth remembering for next year.

I rarely shop in Sainsbury's, but I'm very happy with a dozen bottles of reasonable wine for buying my train tickets from the First Transpennine Express Web site.
