I know previously I've wanted to remortgage to a high street, but I do not feel that Kenginston are that bad as people are making out to be, they do take sometime to check mails, etc etc and what ever, so I'd prefer to just remortgage with them instead of 'trying' my luck and going to a highstreet. by any chance when the fix is up with Kensington, do they have a retention team?
I'd want to be put on there 2.92% rate instead of the 4.84% that I am on at the moment, which should save me around £180.33 per month and more capital will be paid off in the longer term.
Has anyone switched while being with Kensington ?

I do not think they do retention, as I recall, you have to 'reapply' to get a new rate (new underwriting).
Every client I have had there I have been able to move on to a more competitive lender when their product ends.I am a Mortgage Broker

Kensington get their money from large scale private funders. You would need to make a brand new application to switch products as far as I'm aware as you could find your mortgage is funded by different companies but just has a Kensington badge on the front.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
