Hooks!

I am thinking of attaching some trellis to my kitchen wall to house all the kitchen bits that i use regularly.
My kitchen is quite cottagy, and my husband knows naff all about DIY, so i was thinking that this could look really good.
I need to know where to get some butchers hooks from, or alternative hooks, so that i can just stick things like colanders up, and my plastic jugs etc.
Can anyone help?

Brilliant!
That is the kind of thing i was thinking of!
I am going to start a kitchen decorating fund so that i can buy a new blind, paint, wallpaper, and i will also need to get someone in to do the work because my kitchen is so bitty it will be quite difficult to wallpaper.
I also want my cupboards painted etc.0 -
Good idea! Make sure the trellis isn't tanalised as it will contain arsenic which isn't ideal in the kitchen!0

They also do all kind of hooks and bits in B & Q , we bought a chrome rod and end supports and then a bag of hooks to hang all my kitchen tools from it looks like a very expensive one and cost us just a few £sssssssssss#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Just be aware that some of those 's' or butchers hooks have extremely sharp ends. If one was to fall from the trellis rack, you could sustain a painful injury. As an alternative, I have seen one of those Edwardian airers (google Sheila Maid for a picture) used with round-ended chrome hooks to do exactly the job that you describe. Hope that helps and I'm sure whichever you decide upon will complete the cottage look.0

It took us ages to find them in B & Q , they are in the place where they do handles and screws and things, they are in small packets and its difficult to see actually whats in there till you look really carefully.....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j
