CEL Claim Form - Advice on Defence Please

Hi Folks
So I've just received a County Court Claim Form from Civil Emforcement Ltd
I've completed the MCOL and will defend all of the claim, please can someone point me in the direction of a defence draft.
The particulars of their claim are unknown as I haven't received a PCN or follow up letters. However I presume that the PCN was from a local independent supermarket car park for a car I was the registered keeper of, but have since sold. I'm guessing the PCN has been sent to the new registered keeper who chucked all correspondence in the bin
The PCN was almost certainly issued when I was the registered keeper of the vehicle , as the new registered keeper lives half way across the country
thanks

I suggest you adapt this recent one

the NEWBIES sticky thread post #2 will also help0 -
Superb, thank you very much
The advice and wealth of knowledge you Guys supply is invaluable. My Wife has been in a really bad way since receiving the Claim Form, so finding this site and all the help from you kind people has brought her much needed relief
Thanks again0 -
Please read other CEL threads and promise not to come back all shocked, when the DQ arrives.
These are easy enough to see off in the end, but what gets my goat in CEL cases (which are invariably discontinued later when well defended) is when people shriek about their darn DQ, the fully-expected next court form...yawn...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

also bear in mind the new oct 2017 protocols for MCOL claims
you should have been provided with all the relevant paperwork etc within 14 days
see recent umkomaas and bargepole posts for details0 -
I've just had to Google DQ
So that's the next stage that CEL go to, try and tack it to Small Claims mediation?0 -
seeing as you are asking questions like these , its clear you have not read the walkthrough by member BARGEPOLE
please go to the NEWBIES FAQ and study post #2 , ESPECIALLY the Bargepole links (only a fool ignores his advice)
we wont answer questions that are in the FAQ , SORRY0 -
Okay, will do.
Going to crack open a Beer and enjoy some bed time reading
Thanks0 -

So you haven't bothered to read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread then.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've been reading as much as I can since the claim form arrived, mostly in a state of panic, so I apologise if everything hasn't gone in as well as it should0
-
no need to panic , once the AOS was completed the time to deal with it doubled from 14 to 28 days
you wont learn all this in a day , so dont even try0
