how to get a refund

I used a will writing service and paid in full by credit card on the 3rd July 2017 but then sent them a letter to say my circumstances had changed They rang and asked for the reason I said I was a getting a divorce and received a letter confirming the cancellation and full refund - now they are ignoring all my emails what do I do now

I would suggest a letter by recorded delivery that they have to sign for. If you ever have occasion to contact them by phone make a note of the date and time of the phone call, the name of the person you speak to and a resume of the conversation.

Whatever method you use keep copies of everything and record every tiny detail.

Have you spoken to your credit card company? If you have written proof that a full refund is due, they may be willing to return your funds.

If it's over £100, I just deduct the amount from my next credit card bill, and send them a letter explaining why. Seems to have done the trick so far.
