Getting payday uk to default me

So i entered into a dmp with stepchange in January this year. Since then most of my creditors have defaulted me except payday uk and lending stream.

I have written them and asked that they default me from the date of my dmp starting , as the others have, as they are currently reporting me as up to date and as i have explain to them this ir incorrect as they are getting less than 1% of the total loan value per month.

Payday uk have got back to me saying that i need to raise this with the credit reference agency and not them. Is this right as surely they report to the CRA not the other way round?

I feel like im hitting a brick wall talking to them.

    isn't that a good thing?

Not for the OP - they will eventually default, but the longer it takes for them to do so, the longer the damage to OP's credit file will take to repair.

For a situation where you're trying to avoid defaults then yes, this would be a good thing, but in the OP's case, it's irrelevant as their file will already show other defaults.

Not necessarily, One of mine marked mine ok the whole way through my DMP, right up until it was paid of, and therefore was a positive marker on my account
