We are having a slight problem with Laid turf in our Front garden. Most days when we get up at least two bits have been unrolled and a bit of digging! A neighbour said they seen fox's digging for worms? Can anyone suggest what we can do.
Thought it was cats initially, and got one of those scaredy cats with marble eyes but it is a fox! We do water the grass everyday and dont want it not to take again. Any suggestions appreciated please.
thanks in advance.

Put a roll of chicken wire down along the edges and hold it down with rocks or large ground pins.0

I've heard that human male urine is a deterrent to foxes. Perhaps a discreet late evening visit to the lawn, after all your neighbours have gone to bed?0

They're after grubs and the like, I've been waking up to patches of missing grass for the last 6 weeks, but it's starting to tail off. Chicken wire is about your only hope, short of a shotgun.0

thanks for suggestions. Anyone got anything else to suggest? Also with the man pee suggestion - do you mix any sort of pepper or spices in with it?
thanks so much all.0 -
Is it new? You could try getting some U shaped netting pegs (bits of wire bent into a U shape) available from garden centre usually. That would hold them down, but might not stop the foxes digging at them generally like they would any bit of grass.0

Give him a curry, then kick him out of bed early next morning to go outside for a pee!0
