    They might be. Or there might be reasons, yet to be discovered, why they are not. Speak to an independent whole of market broker. Armed with your details they can cut through all the crap and get this sorted. I understand people wanting to take the DIY approach (this is a money saving site after all:)) But a broker could save you thousands of pounds and God knows how much time and worry.
    Feb 2008, 20year lifetime tracker with "Sproggit and Sylvester"... 0.14% + base for 2 years, then 0.99% + base for life of mortgage...base was 5.5% in 2008...but not for long. Credit to my mortgage broker
