SIPP & Physical Gold

Hi
I am hoping that someone has had better luck than me.
I am looking for a SIPP that will allow me to hold physical gold as part of my pension, without any % restrictions. e.g. InvestAcc will allow 25% only of your total investment.
Thanks very much
PS please don't turn this into a "why invest in gold thread, or invest in gold shares etc" if you don't know the answer, please move on and troll elsehere

When you say you don't want to invest in gold shares do you mean miners, etc? You can buy gold within a physical ETF in most SIPPs although it the fund is traded much like a share so might diverge from the NAV a bit.0

There are some SIPP providers that allow gold in this link.

Note that all of these require the gold to be stored in a secure vault etc, which you don't have access to as you don't own the gold (your pension does), which may or may not be an issue depending on the reasons you want to invest in physical gold. Fees for these SIPP providers are likely to be higher too."For every complicated problem, there is always a simple, wrong answer"0
