I have a NHS pension at present, although some other small pots from previous employers. Don't know if to transfer these into one other pot???

1-Friends life ((Aviva) Aug 2017) black rock consensus / secure growth total £8968.40 or transferable £8514.39

2-Friends life (Aug 17) A/A £ 75.77

Charges (0.5%) each fund

3- people's pension B&CE GI £580.80 total (0.5% yearly charge)

Shall I leave them alone or considering moving?

Thank you :money:

Would it be worth considering a transfer in to an NHS AVC to keep flexibility?
  • Thank you will look into this

How long have you worked for the NHS? (there is a time limit on transfers).

Which NHS pension is it that you are in?
When are you looking to retire? if early, what are your plans to fund that?

  • Hi
I only have a few years, couple years in 2008 then left to have kids. Now a couple years in 2015 scheme. Not planning to retire early.
  • I have set up AVC with Prudential, would you still say to transfer 3 small pension pots from first post into this pension pot?

To which of your NHS schemes would the AVCs be attached?

Suppose you transfer to AVCs. Is it possible to transfer out again if you want to?
