Yes, we installed our own almost two years ago. After doing a fair bit of research, we purchased the Nuaire Drimaster 2000 kit via a Northern Ireland based seller on ebay (albeit the actual kit was despatched direct from manufacturer in Wales). At the time, it was cheaper for us to do it this way rather than purchase directly, as ebay had a discount offer on that saved us money.
Installation instructions were fairly straightforward. Small query arose, though, on setting the 'programme', but we clarified what we had done by sending an email to manufacturer, who replied to confirm that we were correct.butterfly )i(0 -
Oops, forgot to say, we paid £200 at time (seller's actual price was £250, but the eBay discount brought it down). I think some of Nuaire's product 'names' have changed since, possibly due to product updates/enhancements.butterfly )i(0

I installed mine with the optional remote sensor which has proved useful (bungalow so might be different in your case).
I wired mine up to a light switch arrangement in the house so I could switch the entire unit on and off periodically (although it will auto turn off) but also it was a twin lightswitch so I could operate the boost system at times.
Paid 250 for it and installed it myself (easy to do bungalow and I was refurbing the entire house at the time).
One other point, hang it from the rafters (rope or wire) as opposed to mounting it directly on the rafters. They can sell you a vibration kit but the wire also keeps it well above the insulation and cuts down on that insulation smell you sometimes get with it if its been off for long periods.0 -
Another Nuaire here, was massively skeptical about it's effectiveness but it's made a big difference to condensation levels.0

Tried this method some years ago, it didn’t make much odds and the blower in the unit failed after a couple of years. Much better results from a good dehumidifier.0
