Dining Table made of Railway Sleepers?

Hi

Hopefully some one will be able to help me or point me in the right direction.

I am looking a new dining room table, made from railway sleepers.

I know this probably sounds a little (or very)bizarre to some people!

I once saw a dining table made from railway sleepers/wood for sale, and I loved it. Unfortunately the shop that I saw it in has now closed down and I cant seem to find any tables similar to it.

Is it possible anyone could tell me either where in NI sells such a table or does anyone know anyone who possibly makes them?

Any information would be of great help to myself.

Won't the sleepers be soaked in (toxic) creosote?

I would speak to Kilkeel Joinery in the first instance and they will let you know how feasible it is and some idea of costing .
