You should be exempt from the £150 court charge as i'm on incapacity benefit & DLA & I didn't pay....you must seek professional advice 1st though before you go to court with BR paperwork as it's one of the questions the judge will ask, if the car is registered to you & under £1000 you might be able to keep but no guarantee just put everything down on the paperwork & the OR will question if needs be
You need to contact CCCS or National debtline etc before you attend court

Hello Seglits,
firstly, no you don't have to pay the £150 court fee, just make sure you fill in the form (exx160 i think)
Secondly, you must take some advice. You can always just phone one of the debt agencies listed here. The judge will ask if you've taken advice ( i didn't see a judge but the court clerk asked)

You will need to tell the OR about the car as you pay the insurance/tax/mot on it and you need to include them on your I&E. If you don't include them how will you find the money to pay them? Have you done your I&E yet?BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
